Mailer Bags
What the finished order ships in.

What the finished order ships in. Mailers are the one pack in this catalogue your customer sees before they see anything else you have made, and the one most brands leave until last.
The two builds. Co-extruded LDPE at 60 micron is the standard courier bag — opaque, tamper evident, with a self-seal adhesive strip and an optional docket pocket for the shipping label. LDPE with an air bubble lining at 80 micron adds cushioning for fragile goods, electronics, cosmetics and jewellery.
Tamper evidence. The self-seal strip on the plain courier bag cannot be reopened without visible damage. On an ecommerce order that is worth more than it sounds: it settles the question of whether a parcel was interfered with in transit, which otherwise becomes a dispute between you, the courier and the customer with no evidence on any side.
Docket pocket. A clear pouch on the face for the shipping label. It keeps the label flat and readable through rain and handling, and it means the label is not stuck over your printing. Worth specifying — it costs very little and a courier that cannot scan a label returns the parcel.
Opacity. Both builds are opaque. Nobody handling the parcel can see what is in it, which matters for anything of value and for anything the recipient would rather their neighbours did not know they had ordered.
Printing. Up to three colours on the courier bag, two on the bubble mailer. Mailers are printed in fewer colours than pouches because LDPE is a difficult substrate and because the design has to survive being dragged through a sorting facility. Bold, simple, high-contrast artwork works; fine detail and pale tints do not.
Ordering. Minimum 1,000 pieces on both, lead time 10 to 12 working days. Suits ecommerce orders, garments, books, accessories and — in the bubble version — anything you would not want to drop.
Sizing. Order one size larger than you think. A bag that a product only just fits into will burst at the seam under a stack, and the saving on film is never worth a damaged order.
