Woven PP Bags

Sacks woven from flat polypropylene tape, which is what lets a bag hold fifty kilos without tearing at the seam. This is bulk handling, not retail — the buyer is a mill, a trader or a feed supplier, and the bag's job is to survive a warehouse rather than to look good on a shelf.

The build. Woven PP at 90 micron, BOPP laminated, gloss, printed up to eight colours. Standard size 450 × 750 mm in 25 kg and 50 kg fills. The lamination does two jobs: it gives a smooth printable face, and it closes the weave against dust and moisture ingress. Unlaminated is available and cheaper if neither matters.

Why woven, not film. A 50 kg load concentrates its weight on the bottom seam and on whatever the bag is gripped by. Woven tape distributes that across the whole fabric and fails gradually rather than splitting. No film laminate at any thickness we make will hold that load repeatedly.

Barrier. Low — dust and moisture only. This is not a food-preservation pack. Grain and feed stored in woven sacks depend on the warehouse being dry, not on the bag. If your product needs a real moisture barrier at this weight you need a liner inside the sack, which we can supply as a separate item.

UV stabilisation. Available as an option and worth taking if the sacks will be stored outdoors or under a translucent roof for any length of time. Untreated polypropylene embrittles in sunlight — the bag looks fine and then tears when it is lifted, which is the worst way for a sack to fail.

Closure. Stitched or heat sealed. Stitching is standard, faster to close on a filling line and easier to open at the other end. Heat sealing is more secure against pilferage and against dust.

Ordering. Minimum 5,000 pieces, lead time 20 working days. Suits rice, wheat, sugar, cattle feed and fertiliser. Stackable and tear resistant as standard.
